Aries:  This year will be far more to your liking than 2010, which was sluggish indeed for the Rams.  You have more freedom to move around and make things happen most of the year.  Uranus enters your sign during the first quarter and this is your signal to begin some of the radical changes you have been dreaming about for the last two years.  It will be prominent in Aries for the following 7 years.  Uranus brings topsy-turvy conditions, so even if you don't initiate it, changes are going to happen that will press you to see the world and yourself in a different way.  (Those born in the early days of the sign will be most affected.)  Issues that reflect some type of risk will be front and center during the first half of the year.  The probability is strong that you will choose to expand your territory, take the risk, and move out into the world in spite of the fact that partners are reluctant.  Some of you will depart partnerships that are too restrictive.  April is one central point of significant challenge.  It will take all your strength to hold to your identity against opposing forces.  Mercury retrograding in your sign at that time might cause you to back off for a more strategic moment.  There will be less opposition in May and June.  May has some highly favorable aspects that will help you attract what you want and need.  A new passion may enter your life during the 2nd quarter.  The next great challenging moments come during August when there will be pressures on multiple fronts. You are on a warrior's path, seeking truth and justice for all.  Issues concerning identity, family, career, and partnerships will be the major factors.  The pace slows at last during the 4th quarter and you will be ready to lay down your sword for a temporary rest. 

Taurus: 
This will be an interesting year for the Bulls.  You begin by making big improvements on a relationship issue that plagued you during the last quarter of '10.  Your financial resources will be increasing as the year continues onward.  New people and situations that enter your life during Feb. are likely to have a significant impact on your future.  Improvements and favorable circumstances related to life direction are noticeable in March.  Don't put yourself out in front in April lest someone chop off your head.  Be still then and allow circumstances to come to you.  May is especially prominent in the romance department.  You will be starting or refreshing an important relationship at that time.  You likely will "fall in love" with someone or some thing very appealing.  July is the most challenging month of the year with issues in a variety of places.  A confusing or deceptive work situation may trap you.  Avoid gossip and keep your mouth zipped lest you become a target.  August or early Sep. will probably be a good time to plan a vacation or take some time away from your routine.  Sep/Oct will find you developing a new health routine or altering your daily schedule to accommodate new personal needs.  In Oct. relationship conflicts will take priority but you will soon adjust to a better way of communicating.  Nov is generally favorable, and brings a time of general resource help from others if you are in need.  Nov & Dec are higher stress months in which you may wonder once again whether you are being deceived. Take the moderate path.
 

Gemini:
This year brings in new vistas concerning friendships and community activities for you.  If you have been one who is normally too caught up in these relationships, you may essentially walk out to free your time.  On the other hand, if you have not been a joiner in the past you may find yourself attracted into a much bigger community of like-minded souls.  The Mercury retrograde in the territory of associations during the month of April may cause you to change position in relation to these factors.  The early seeds of disillusionment with your career and life goals are creeping onto your radar through the year.  You are beginning to prefer focus on a more spiritually fulfilling lifestyle.  Clues emerge near Feb. 20--23, May 21, June 3, end July, Sep. 8, and Oct 14.  It will probably be 2012 before you actually materialize the new direction.  In June there are two eclipses which clearly point to important decisions/perceptions concerning your primary relationship(s).  You will need to recognize worn out patterns of behavior and concentrate upon updating your attitudes.  During August the Mercury retrograde period will point out errors of thinking and communication in your daily life.  It may also bring a time in which your vehicle requires attention.  Avoid signing contracts during August.  In Nov-Dec the eclipses occur one more time.  Your partner or significant other may pause, stop, or turn around during that period which causes you to do the same while you wait for a change that will occur mid-Dec.

Cancer: The cosmic energies have arranged for you to experience six eclipses this year instead of the usual four.  Therefore this is a year of major significance, beginning off the top with one last eclipse in your partnership/clientele house on Jan. 4.  Life in that territory has changed for the better in the last 18 months and only you know how necessary that was.  Look for more improvement in that area during January.  A shift of focus begins in Feb in the areas of work related relationships, usual life routine, and health maintenance. Diet, exercise and improvement of physical regimen will serve you well.  Honing your management systems in personal and work arenas is necessary to improve the efficiency of the daily work routine.  The months of May through July are particularly important in these areas.  You may be developing a significant mentor relationship during 2011.  Your age determines whether you are the teacher or the pupil.  Look for a big change in your life tasks, perhaps career, in March/April.  Dramatic twists and turns occur with each solstice and equinox.  The month of August will be loaded with challenges and hard work, but you will definitely be up to the task.  You may become a warrior on behalf of yourself or someone else at that time, especially so in the second half of the month moving into Sep.  The last quarter of the year will bring a quieter period which is truly deserved.

Leo:  Totally new territories of thought are opened to you during 2011.  The source may be formal education, the internet, travel, or expansion of belief systems.  You will find a virtual new reality to explore and likely will be following that path with gusto in April.  Meanwhile you will insist that the "new" experiences be grounded in practical reality in that they serve some purpose.  Health matters continue to be of importance to you.  If you are not actively engaged in the care of your body, circumstances may cause you to pay attention.  Mercury retrogrades in your sign in August.  It will cause you to pause, rethink, and reevaluate your direction.  Do not take the lead or start initiatives during Aug. or you will be sorry.  Keep thinking and researching.  Wait until mid-Sep. to start the balls rolling.  Shifts of your attention are demanded with each equinox and solstice this year.  It is stressful, but you are strong enough to manage.  The spring will be mind-blowing with new ideas.  The summer stresses health care.  The fall brings intensity related to practical application of the new education.  And the Dec. solstice again focuses on personal health and organizational management.
 

Virgo: Stay thoroughly awake about the people who enter your life in 2011-12.  You are on the verge of attracting vampire types (definition:  people who take more than they give; people who are deceptive about themselves or their motives).  If anyone seems too good to be true, he or she is a suspect.  You are in the midst of a 2.5 year process of belt tightening and learning to live with less disposable income.  Usually this comes from making a large investment (probably 2009 or 10).  Unfortunately, in this financial climate, it may have to do with less income in the home.  Assistance comes your way between late Jan. and mid-May.  A delay may occur during May, but otherwise you have help.  The belt-tightening period will be completed with the last quarter of 2012.  During the month of August it is likely you will remain in the background.  Indeed, it is definitely not time to make advances or initiatives, lest you pay for them later.  Aug. is a month in which you pause to rethink your plans or are pressed to wait due to circumstances.  During Sep-Oct you will be released to move forward in life.  In latter Nov through mid Dec. you will need to tend to matters concerning home, hearth, and family.  It may be a challenge to make lasting decisions at that time.  Most will be short-term, quick result decisions.

Libra:  Issues of aging are all around you.  Possibly you are feeling "old" right now and you may be experiencing issues related to teeth, skin, and your skeletal system.  Equipment or other items you are accustomed to using may be requiring overhaul as well.  Many of these issues will ultimately be repaired and will become less of a focus by the end of 2012.  The cosmos is encouraging you to revise and update your identity.  An accustomed way of being has worn itself out and you need to find a fresh area of growth.  If that direction is not yet apparent, just take care of yourself and your body right now and the new growth will emerge with time.  The year begins on a positive note concerning partners, income and clientele.  Be prepared to repair vehicles or other items of property during Feb/Mar.  April presents a new situation concerning your partner or significant other.  You will need to declare your identity and set boundaries during that period.  Otherwise you may be run over by the issues of the "other".  In May a new agreement in relationship may begin concerning the sharing of resources.  June has the normal ups and downs.  July is a stressful month concerning issues of career, property, and sense of self.  Don't let it bog you down because you move on to August with happier aspects.  This is a good time to vacation.  In Sep you will be putting stress on yourself to "get on with" whatever your direction is to be.  The critic is overly loud and wants to take over your life.  This is not your real self; it is your ego.  Tell it to sit down and be still while you work out your plan.  During Oct/Nov you are required to pour energy into the new creative area, whether that be a project or a person.  Dec is social and generally brings a pleasant end to the year.  Each of the equinoxes and solstices represent times of significant decision
 

Scorpio: 
You are challenging yourself to renew through learning a new language, learning to organize yourself on the computer, and/or learning to write succinctly.  You might be doing something that requires you manage contracts.  Roommates or neighbors may provide challenges to your sense of peace this year.  Rearrangement of home and hearth may be required to help you manage the study that is needed.  Between mid-Feb and the end of March you may be focused on children or personally creative pursuits.  April is a particularly busy time related to your daily routine and perhaps also to your health.  Take especially good care of yourself during April.  Accidents are possible in April and again in August.  Give special attention to your partner in May and June.  Early July brings favorable aspects concerning work.  August is a toughie because your attention is required in too many places.  Pace yourself.  Borrow time where you can.  Things smooth out in Sept/Oct and rewards for your efforts appear in the second half of Nov.  Count on having a year of hard work that yields beneficial results by year end.  You may even have a new career in the making.

Sagittarius: 
This year rolls out the starting gate with a bang.  A very recent or spanking new development gives you the spiritual starter you need to move into a genuinely creative year.  While the heart is there, circumstances related to resources and authority figures may interfere during the beginning of the year.  Look for legal detours and continue dreaming and creating.  You have some fine ideas. Some of you will be creating babies as well. Love and romance is likely to blossom between Jan. and May.  You are called upon to find a genuine balance between loyalty to the self and respect for your partner. Overall improvement in circumstances develops in the second half of the year.  A fresh working environment or a new job likely comes your way and eases the load of life as it brings improvement in income.  Also in the second half you will be aware of the need to channel energy into taking better care of yourself.  Changes of poor habits will be easier to make.  You may experience a longing to live near the water as the year progresses.  This becomes more feasible in 2012.
 

Capricorn: Pluto, planet of transformation, has been in your sign for two years and will remain there until 2024.  There is no way around it.  You are coerced into seeing the best and the worst of yourself.  Capricorn's most positive asset is the ability to manage and organize, the Great Father/Mother with wisdom for the masses.  Its darkest shade is revealed in the misuse of power.  Whichever boat you row, Pluto wants the truth to be known.  You are asked to use your personal identity in ways that promote the good of all.  No hoarding allowed.  You may be challenged by a health issue, financial problems, or a myriad of other difficulties.  You may want to throw a rock at me for the next line:  your response must be one of integrity, reaching deeply into yourself for the strength to take your Goat self right up the mountain.  Accomplishing that will also guide others to find their way.  You have a variety of skills and may prefer to do something else, but for now you are pressured to use your strongest ability as a caretaker and model steadfast forward motion.  The equinoxes and solstices are powerful for you this year.  These times will demand the most attention.  Take special cautions in March/April to avoid accidental injuries.  The second half of the year brings new passion into your life and a lightening of the overall load.
 

Aquarius:   You have two ruling planets, each of which rules one side of your nature.  Saturn, the taskmaster, the keeper of rules, is the side of you that is dependable and will do what you promise. Sometimes that side is a bit rigid. Then there is Uranus, the energy that demands independence, and the freedom to be creative, damn the rules. These two sides of your nature vie for your attention always and particularly so in the past two years.  In the first quarter Uranus has the reins.  You may find yourself saying exactly what is on your mind, regardless of the consequences.  Perhaps the topic has been eating away at you for a very long time and demands to be heard.  Meanwhile, your Saturn side has been attempting to find a sense of balance and peace concerning your belief systems.  These can be spiritual, political, and/or ethical.  The time has come to find an outlet for each of these energies.  Perhaps you will enter a teaching/learning situation that provides equal opportunity for debate.  If you naturally side with the rule-bound Aquarius, then a wild Uranus type of person will enter your life from a side door and create some havoc.  If you naturally lean to the wild side, circumstances will make it important to present your thoughts within a structure, one that respects the other side.  The "rules" will be constantly in the way.  Events of the first half of the year promote Uranus and the second half promote Saturn.  In the end you will find some balance.
 

Pisces: You have spent the past seven to ten years thinking of yourself as a loner, "different" from others, and virtually independent.  Ever so slowly, during 2010 you have come to recognize that if you maintain that cool identity you will rob yourself of a true sense of meaning.  Now is the time to break out of that mold.  It protects your independence but it also presses you into solitude.  Begin taking risks and act as though you actually "belong" in the world.  Observe how the world responds to you more openly.  Embrace it and develop this new self.  Though scary, it is likely that opening the ice chest will somehow result in a greater sense of self-confidence and consequent improvement of income.  Unfortunately, Saturn in your solar 8th continues to put pressure on your savings and investments, so getting ahead financially is a challenge.  However, you may at least break even by year end.  From June through the rest of the year you will adopt a practical attitude.  For example, if you purchase a car (and you might), your interest will be in good mileage and solid construction.  Education, whether you are the teacher or the learner, can be an area of positive growth.  You may actually do both.  During the last half of the year, life feels lighter and circumstances generally go your way.  You will be more likely to travel, especially for short weekend jaunts..
